The Borough of Verona is excited to launch TextMyGov, a new, smart text   messaging service! Residents can receive important notifications and text the Borough to find specific information.

We will officially launch the new text messaging system to the public on March 3, 2025. Residents may receive a text message from 91896 from the Borough of Verona initiating the service. You can choose to opt out at any time by texting STOP.

If you don’t receive the initial message, you can choose to opt-in by texting the keyword “VeronaBorough” to the number 91896. After sending the initial keyword, you will be asked to reply “YES” to confirm opt-in. Residents may receive notifications for upcoming events, garbage delays, road closures, etc.

Also starting soon, residents will be able to receive on-demand information 24/7 by texting 1-2 keywords to the Borough of Verona’s TextMyGov number: 412.517.7774. You’ll be able to get quick information about permits, parks, and other important Borough information.
